It should be noted that upon arrival, it will take roughly 30 minutes to reach Golden Sands from Varna Airport. This can be done by shuttle buses, which run every half hour from 8:00 to 19:30.
Boarding is at Varna’s famous landmark — the Macedonian House. You can take a bus heading to Albena, which makes a stop at Golden Sands along the way. Another regular bus to the resort (number 409) departs near a local landmark — the Cathedral.
Tickets to Golden Sands are cheap - the cost is about 2 BGN. It is also worth noting that in the summer months, when the influx of tourists is the greatest, buses on the route run around the clock.
You can also always use the services of one of the many airport transfer services. Here you will be offered a choice of a comfortable cab or minibus. The road from the airport to the central part of the city takes about half an hour. The approximate cost of the trip is 10-20 BGN.
