1. Lapad Beach
Lapad - without exaggeration, the most beautiful beach of the resort area, framed by palm trees, pine trees, and olive trees, which give patterned shade. Lapad Bay is a perfect combination of pearly sand on the descent into the water and fine white pebbles on the rest of the beach area. The infrastructure of the complex includes stores, cafes, rentals of boats, water bikes, and small yachts, as well as scuba diving schools. Entrance to the beach is free, and the cost of renting sunbeds and umbrellas is about 1 EUR.
2. Banje Beach
Banje is a VIP spot on the map of Dubrovnik beaches. Real volleyball battles, mini-football, and water-floor competitions are held here. Local and visiting celebrities who appreciate Eastern European resorts for their atmosphere like to relax here. The beach overlooking the Old Town is equipped with lifeguard towers and has water entertainment centers. Entrance to the beach costs about 2 EUR, and all services on the beach are paid (0.5 EUR for a shower, 1 EUR for renting sunbeds).
3. Danče Beach
Danče is a beautiful stony beach located west of the Old Town, next to the St. Mary's Monastery (samostan svete Marije). The shore is not protected from the wind by rocks, so the water is cooler, and there are often high waves.
4. Buja Beach
An unusual secluded beach called Buja is located under the city walls of Dubrovnik. This romantic spot is reached by a labyrinth of winding streets in the Old Town, which culminate at the wrought iron door of St. Stephen's. The entrance to the sea is by stairs, and there are small cafes and authentic-style bars on the beach.
5. Sunj Beach, Lopud
Sunj, Lopud is an ideal beach for family vacations with children in Dubrovnik. The sandy strip opens with a gentle entrance to the sea, and the depth begins at a distance of at least 100 meters from the shore. There is no better place on the Adriatic for the first swimming lessons! Sunj is attracted by the untouched natural beauty of the bay, convenient ways of approach by boat transport, modern infrastructure, which includes restaurants, cafes, and rental of deck chairs. Entrance to the beach is free.
6. Copacabana Beach
Copacabana is the center of water entertainment in Dubrovnik. On the fine-pebbled, gentle beach, children can enjoy the water slides, while adults can learn how to operate a kayak, canoe, or jet ski.
