Water temperature in Dubrovnik
Hundreds of islands with secluded coves, crystal clear water and rock and sand landscapes that take your breath away all form the amazing panorama of Dubrovnik.
An additional advantage of the region is the rapid warming of the Adriatic Sea to a comfortable temperature of +20-21°C. Only in late fall and winter the water temperature drops to +14-15°C, which, however, does not prevent divers from enjoying the beauty of the underwater world even during this period.
Tides in the Adriatic Sea are almost imperceptible and rarely exceed 0.3 meters. The situation can be changed only by sudden squally winds, which make waves on open beaches and "stretch" the tides up to 1 meter. The "big wave days" on the Adriatic Sea can be observed in the middle of winter. During the holiday season, the water area is completely calm and the maximum temperature of the Adriatic Sea is +27°C.
