The Dubrovnik International Airport "Čilipi" is located 15 kilometers from the city. It is the busiest in Croatia. The annual passenger traffic is more than 1.6 million people.
How to get to the city center
To get to Dubrovnik from the airport is easy. There are plenty of options: bus, cab, shuttle, or rented car. It takes 25 to 30 minutes to get to the city by car.
Public transportation
Buses are the only form of public transportation at the airport. The city's public transportation website has all the information you need.
Bus - Shuttle
Bus service at Dubrovnik Air Station is tied to airplane traffic. Please note that the schedule changes every day. Check the airport website for changes. Transportation for tourists is provided by the Atlas transportation company. The bus goes to the Pile Gate in the Old Town and the Gruj Port bus terminal.

- Trip time: 30 minutes.
- Where to buy a ticket: from the driver or at the airport (counters labeled Atlas).
- Opening hours: Daily from 04:45 to 17:35 - 18:30.
- Fare: 6 EUR, extra 1.5 EUR for a suitcase.
City bus
In contrast to the shuttle, the city bus takes longer but costs less at the bus stop. The routes you need are numbers 11, 27, 28. Along the way, the bus makes the following stops: Zvekovica - Plat - Srebreno - Gruž.

- Travel time: 40 to 50 minutes.
- Where to buy a ticket: from the driver or at the airport.
- Opening times: 06:00, 08:00, 12:25, 16:45, 18:25 on weekdays, 06:00, 12:25, 16:45, 18:45 on Saturday.

Transfer
Transfer is the most comfortable way to get to the city. You can choose a car in advance and specify some details, such as the capacity of the cabin or the availability of a child car seat.

Taxi
A comfortable and not too expensive way to get to Dubrovnik. Make sure you agree on the exact cost with the cab driver before the trip so that there are no unpleasant surprises when you arrive.

- Cost: 35 EUR.
Hire a Car
If you plan to stay in Dubrovnik for an extended period of time, rent a car. It is convenient and cheaper than taking a cab all the time, especially if you have a small child. To rent a car, you need to have an international driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience. The permissible age for driving is from 21 years old.
