Walking around Porec is a pleasure: it is small, beautiful, well-maintained, with beautiful nature and marvelous examples of architecture. And in terms of variety of architectural styles, small Poreč is able to shut up many large cities in Europe. And if you get tired of walking around the city, you can take a tourist train from the center of the resort to the Green Lagoon.
Start exploring Old Town at Freedom Square and Dekumanus, and from there walk to the waterfront. From the promenade they organize sightseeing boat tours along Poreč. You will sail along the coast of Istria, stop in Pula, cross the Lima Canal and have lunch in nature.
From the promenade of Marshal Tito you can continue the walk from the outside of the former city walls and walk around the old town.
To admire the stunning panoramic views, you can climb the stairs to the hill with the Chapel of St. Nicholas, and then climb the 173 steps to the top of the bell tower. The incredible scenery is well worth the effort!
