The resort offers both adult-only and child-friendly beaches. All beaches in Ayia Napa are municipal and free of charge. Umbrellas and sun loungers (2.5 EUR each per day) are paid for.

Which is the best beach in Ayia Napa?
Nissi Beach
Nissi Beach is the number one beach in the resort. Light sand, clear turquoise sea, long gentle descent into the water attract many tourists. Here there are places where the fun pours by the river, and quieter areas (eastern part). The beach gets its name from the islet, which is connected to the shore by a narrow sandy isthmus.
At high tide it disappears into the sea, but at low tide it reappears. This islet is worth a visit for water sports enthusiasts and extreme divers who want to dive off the cliff. Nissi Beach is preferred by those who like foam parties from the very morning, various contests (not always decent), DJ creativity, beach soccer, volleyball - in a word, an active vacation.
Macronissos Beach
For a vacation with a small child or just longing for peace, it is better to choose Macronissos Beach. It is tucked away in a bay with no strong winds and is washed by the waters of three bays. On the beach you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas, go to a bar, restaurant, take part in a cultural program. To the east Macronissos is adjoined by archaeological excavations. The only disadvantage of this beach is an inconvenient small parking lot, full to capacity in the "high season".
Other Ayia Napa beaches
Also popular among vacationers are the beaches of Agia Thekla, Lanta, Glyki Nero, Pantahou, Konnos Beach. In the east and west of Ayia Napa you can find areas for secluded rest, but they are not equipped with special equipment.
