City Transportation
Thanks to the modest size of the resort, you can easily get around without a car or other means of transportation. Ayia Napa's public transport will only be needed for trips to Cape Greco or other places in Cyprus. For such trips, you can rent a buggy, moped, quad bike, or bicycle. For example, renting a bicycle will cost you 5-10 EUR per day. There are numerous companies that offer such transportation rental services in Ayia Napa. Keep in mind that the traffic on the roads follows a left-handed driving system!
Fare
The economical option for getting around on wheels is by using shuttle buses. Route #101/102 from Paralimni to Protaras, Cape Greco, Ayia Napa, and the Waterpark is operated by EMAN. These buses run every 20-30 minutes, and the ticket price for such transportation in Ayia Napa is approximately 2 EUR. Payment is usually made directly to the driver (small bills are preferred). InterCity Buses provide transportation to destinations like Larnaca, Nicosia, and other cities.
There are plenty of taxis available as well. These taxis have meters, but it's often better to negotiate the price in advance. Different fare rates may apply during the day and at night.
