Honfleur has a rather modest public transportation system. The town is served by a single circular bus route that connects key districts and includes 36 stops. The bus fare is around 1–2 EUR depending on the route, making it an affordable and convenient way to get around, especially if you do not plan to use taxis.
In addition to buses, Honfleur has several taxi services — Allo Taxi Honfleurais, Taxi Pascal, and Alain Taxi. Taxis are convenient for night travel or when carrying luggage, although fares are significantly higher compared to buses.
Despite the compact size of the town itself, transport links connect Honfleur with Paris and Le Havre. You can reach them either by bus or by train. This proximity to major cities makes Honfleur an excellent starting point for short trips and excursions throughout Normandy.
