Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and la Plagne form the Paradiski ski area. Here you will find 425 kilometers of slopes of different levels of difficulty, located at an altitude of 1200 to 3250 meters, between which 131 elevators are constantly running. There are many ski schools where you can learn not only the basics, but also tricks and off-piste skiing.
Novices usually choose the Arc 1800 area, as Arc 1600 has steep slopes, and Arc 2000 can be too crowded in the high season. Professionals will appreciate the slopes of Mount Aiguille Rouge (3,226 meters), on the north side of which is the Flying Kilometer downhill run. For snowboarders, Arc 1800 has a fun park with figures, half-pipe and boardercross runs, and another 180-meter long half-pipe is located in Arc 2000. The area around Les Arc has many slopes suitable for freeriding. There are also conditions for night skiing - on all levels of the resort there is at least one piste illuminated at night.
There are also sledding slopes, a skating rink and swimming pools in the resort area. Those who lack adrenaline can ride a snowmobile or dog sled, fly a paraglider or a speed glider.
