The snow cover is strongest and densest during the peak season, from early December to late April.
The fantastic ski slopes of Les Arcs are suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all levels and abilities. Beginner and intermediate slopes are usually the most crowded during the peak ski season.
For more experienced skiers, Les Arcs offers a wide variety of exciting descents, including runs from the summit of Aiguille Rouge. Here, the slopes are nearly vertical, with numerous off-piste options on both sides. The 7 km slope within the ski area is considered the longest in the resort.
Ski runs in Les Arcs will also appeal to those who prefer a more comfortable ride. Many red slopes have blue “twin” runs. Les Arcs is regarded as the birthplace of European snowboarding, as the very first fun park was built here.
