The garden resort on the French Riviera is known for its low crime rate. Everything here is calm and peaceful. The French police do their job very well. However, there are two things to keep in mind. The first danger may await you at Nice Airport. During the high season, pickpockets and gypsies often operate here, targeting wallets, small bags, and ladies’ handbags.
The second danger is the so-called “knockout drops” women in nightclubs. If you are traveling with a group of men and some charming local ladies join your table, keep a very close eye on your drinks — quite literally.
