This is Paris - the fashion capital of the world, but the small resort towns of France (which includes Menton) do not get rave reviews about shopping. There are few branded boutiques here, no shopping streets or shopping and entertainment complexes.
The largest shopping center in Menton is considered to be the department store chain Galeries Lafayette (27 rue de la République). Almost all famous French brands are at your disposal: Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Christian Louboutin, etc. It makes sense to come here during the sale seasons, which are held twice a year: from mid-January to mid-February and the whole of July. During this time you can buy designer clothes, shoes and accessories at a discount of up to 70%.
Not bad souvenir shopping in Mentone, judging by the reviews of tourists, you can spend at the local market Marche Couvert. It works daily from seven in the morning to one o'clock in the morning. In addition to souvenirs, here you can buy fresh vegetables, fruits and seafood.
The best way to go shopping from Menton is on a shopping tour to Nice. You will visit three shopping streets with a mass of brand boutiques and souvenir shops: Avenue Jean Medecin, rue de France and Avenue de Suède. And elite perfumery and jewelry are waiting for you in the streets of the Old Town of Nice. Among shopping centers it is worth mentioning Galeries Lafayette (which is also in Menton) and Nice-Etoile.
If you want to bring a couple of branded things from France, on the way to Nice airport (or on the way back) you can look in the outlet near Menton - Cap 3000 (Av. Eugene Donadei, 06700 Saint-Laurent-du-Var). It is the biggest mall on the Cote d'Azur. Mostly expensive brands are represented here. But between them there are a few stores with quite affordable prices. Plus in Cap 3000 there are excellent restaurants and cafeterias with national cuisine. The day off is Sunday.
