There are several ways to get to Borjomi. The cheapest option is by train. The station is located 70 m from Tbilisi Airport. Trains with a capacity of 100 passengers depart daily at 8:45 and 18:05. In 20 minutes and for 1 GEL, they will take you to Tbilisi Central Railway Station. For the same price, you can take the city shuttle bus No. 37, which runs between Tbilisi and the airport from 7:00 to 23:00.
You can also book a shuttle transfer from the airport to the city for 15 GEL per person. The bus stops in the city center — at Freedom Square, Heroes Square, May 26 Square, and near the Sports Palace. The service operates 24/7.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which will get you to the city center in 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic. The ride will cost approximately 40–50 GEL.
Minibuses from Kutaisi run regularly in all directions. Tickets can be purchased either at the airport counters or directly from the driver.
