The traditional highlights of Georgia are two cities: the capital, Tbilisi, and the main seaside resort, Batumi. Upon arrival at Tbilisi airport, it's worth staying in the city for a few days to explore the surrounding areas, such as the Kazbegi Mountains, the Rabati Fortress, and the Vardzia Cave Monastery. You can then move closer to the sea and experience the luxurious modern city of Batumi. Just strolling along the promenade can take up an entire day, capturing memorable photos with the Ali and Nino sculpture, the singing fountains, and the "heart" statues. Towards the end of your stay in Georgia, you can travel to the affordable city of Kutaisi and explore its surroundings, including the Sataplia Cave with dinosaur footprints, the ancient monasteries of Gelati and Motsameta, and the Okatse and Martvili canyons.
Georgia is a great destination for a gastronomic tour. When leaving the country, you can not only indulge in local shashlik and homemade cheese but also choose your favorite variety of grapes for the signature Georgian alcoholic beverage (they say there are 555 varieties in the country). Those with a sweet tooth will also be satisfied as there are abundant treats available at every step, including churchkhela, kozinaki, and pastila. Local markets offer a variety of fruits, from common apples to exotic feijoas. Almonds and hazelnuts, priced as ordinary bread, are sure to captivate everyone's attention!
