Although you won't find themed children's amusement parks in Munich itself, there are plenty of them nearby. Just 70 km away from the city, you'll find the wonderful Legoland park. In the town of Wolfratshausen, which is 32 km from Munich, there is a whole Fairy Tale Forest (Märchenwald). Let's not forget about the nearby water park Alpamare as well.
