Munich tours are a cyclist's paradise! But you can also choose bus or walking versions.
Excursions in the capital of Bavaria
Excursions in the capital of Bavaria can be divided into three types: bus tours, bike tours, and walking tours.
This division is somewhat arbitrary since bus tours in Munich usually include some walking as well, as the attractions of the Old Town are within easy walking distance from each other.
There are exceptions such as Nymphenburg Palace, Marienplatz, the Olympic Park with the BMW Museum, and several other attractions that are more conveniently reached by tourist bus.
Additionally, almost any English guide in Munich will offer excursions outside the city, for example, to visit nearby castles such as Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein, or to explore the majestic Bavarian Alps.
English tours in Munich
For example, English tours in Munich offer a bicycle journey to three of the city's castles (Nymphenburg, Blutenburg, and Schleissheim), as well as a walk along the banks of the Isar River with visits to the Old Botanical Garden and the English Garden. Please note that the cost of a bicycle tour in Munich does not always include the rental of the bicycle itself (you may have to pay for it separately).
