The tiny town of Kefalos is located on the island of Kos in a verdant and marvelous bay with clear sea waves. Small stone houses descend from the hills to the sea, creating a magnificent landscape. The view of Kefalos is especially good from the sea side or from the top of a hill.
The beaches here are shining in the sun with white sand, the bottom in the coastal part is not deep, and the water of the bay is transparent. In addition, the beaches of Kefalos have a well-established infrastructure. Here you will be given the opportunity to learn surfing or water skiing, or roll directly into the coastal waves with an inflatable slide.
Once upon a time in antiquity on the site of the present quiet town was the capital of the island of Kos Astypalea. But it was destroyed back in the IV century BC, and only archaeological finds can confirm was the greatness of these places.
