If there is an ideal place in Greece for surfers and lovers of water activities in general, it is the resort of Kefalos. It is specially designed for fans of active sports. Kitesurfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, diving - you will agree that the track record is impressive.
Windsurfing in Kefalos is perfect for both beginners and experienced pros. The cozy bay with smooth water will be at your disposal from 13:00-16:00 (when the wind starts to increase) and until 19:00 (when the wind subsides).
Kitesurfers are located 3km away from windsurfers at Kohilari Beach. For beginners it is better to come in the morning: then the wind is not as strong as at lunchtime, and you can start your exercises without fear. There is plenty of space on the 20-meter wide beach, but the waves reach a maximum height of 1 meter. The coast is clean and coral-free and ideal for kitesurfing in Kefalos.
