Water temperature in Sidari
The salty waves of the warm sea in Sidari are not characterized by a violent temperament, and in season the sea is warm. For example, the water temperature in the Ionian Sea in July is +23-+25°C.
It remains approximately the same during the velvet season - the end of September, so you can still swim in it. As Sidari is located in the north of the northern Greek island of Corfu, it is for this reason that the velvet season is very short. In the daytime both weather and sea water favor the classic resort relaxation on the beach, but in the evening you will have to be seriously insulated. And in October it is hardly possible to get good impressions from the vacation: although the sea remains warm, but the weather throws unpleasant surprises in the form of strong winds and rain. In addition, ferry services to the other Ionian Islands, which are interesting to explore, will be practically paralyzed.
The lowest temperature of the Ionian Sea in February is just 14°C, the highest in sunny August is around +25°C.
