Shopping in Amalfi is possible only if you need to buy the usual holiday goods or food. There are no outlet stores in Amalfi as the town itself is quite small and almost all the stores, boutiques and shopping centers of Amalfi are concentrated in the central area, near the main square and the cathedral.
A shopping tour in Amalfi is also very enjoyable with souvenir shops or food stores selling fresh Italian cheeses, aromatic wine and liqueurs, olives, famous lemons and a variety of fruit as well as fish and seafood. For serious shopping, go to Rome, Milan or Naples, where there are plenty of outlets and large chain supermarkets.
