Windsurfing in Amalfi
At Duoglio Beach, near the cliffs at the entrance to Amalfi, you’ll find the surfing and windsurfing school Lido degli Artisti. The school was founded by a group of young people who love healthy living and fun beach activities.
The beach has board storage facilities. You can also rent all the necessary equipment or buy it at a nearby shop. Rental prices: 1 hour — 20 EUR, 2 hours — 35 EUR, full day — 50 EUR.
Yacht Cruises in Amalfi
At the Amalfi port, you can rent a simple boat or a luxurious yacht. You can take a trip to the islands of Capri and Ischia or to the Emerald Grotto. Be prepared for queues to enter the cave interior, especially during the summer months. For more information about boat rentals, visit the Amalfi tourist office.
Sea tour routes along the Amalfi Coast often include visits to the villages of Pogerola and Pastena to see the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Duoglio and Santa Croce beaches (the latter known for its crystal-clear water), a 15th-century watchtower, Villa Vettica Minore, the bell tower of San Pancrazio, Cape Capo di Conca, and the Grotta dello Smeraldo. The cave was discovered in 1932 by local fishermen, one of whom later guided tours and called himself the “discoverer of the Emerald Grotto.” Entry to the cave costs about 7 EUR.
