Windsurfing in Amalfi
At the Duoglie beach near the cliffs at the entrance of Amalfi, you'll find the surfing and windsurfing school Lido degli Artisti. The school was founded by a group of young people who love a healthy lifestyle and enjoyable beach activities.
On the beach, there are storage spaces for your boards. You can also rent or purchase all the necessary equipment from the shop located near the beach. The rental cost for equipment is 18 EUR for 1 hour, 30 EUR for 2 hours, and 40 EUR for a full day.
Yacht Cruises in Amalfi
In the port of Amalfi, you can rent a regular motorboat or a luxurious yacht. In particular, you can take a yacht cruise to the islands of Capri and Ischia or to the Emerald Grotto. However, be prepared for queues for the tour inside the cave, as many tourists strive to visit during the summer months. For more detailed information about boat rentals, you can inquire at the tourist office in Amalfi.
The itineraries for the boat trips along the Amalfi coast often include visits to the villages of Positano and Praiano to see the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the beaches of Duoglio and Sancta Croce (the latter is known for its crystal-clear water), a 15th-century lookout tower, Villa Vettica Minore, the bell tower of San Pancrazio, Cape d'Orso, and the Emerald Grotto. The grotto was discovered in 1932 by local fishermen, one of whom later started offering tours and always called himself the "discoverer of the Emerald Grotto". There is an entrance fee of approximately 5 EUR to enter the cave.
