Near the Courmayeur ski resort, there are airports in Turin, Milan, and Geneva. The resort is connected to these cities by a high-speed railway. Due to the mountainous terrain, Courmayeur does not have its own airport. The Geneva airport is the most popular — the trip from there to the ski slopes takes about two hours and passes through the famous Mont Blanc tunnel.
