Courmayeur is a small ski resort, where the main street is made pedestrian. The main transport in Courmayeur is its ski elevators. Their extensive network and length of dozens of kilometers will allow vacationers to easily get to where they need. You can also use snowmobiles, snowshoes and sleds for a more exciting ride.
As for travel outside the town, Courmayeur in the south is connected to Milan and Turin by a high-speed freeway. Through the tourist site runs a mass of busy transport links linking southern Europe with central Europe. At 12 km from Courmayeur there is a tunnel under the Mont Blanc that links the town to the world famous capital of alpinism and skiing, Chamonix.
