The rainy season on Tioman runs from November to January. And in the mountainous areas, as a rule, precipitation falls many times more than on the plain.

Tioman has unique natural conditions. The plant life of Tioman is under the strictest protection of the state. Construction works that alter the landscape are strictly prohibited. On the territory of the island it is allowed to build buildings that do not exceed three stories in height.
Thioman's wildlife ranges from lizards and bats to iguanas and pygmy deer.
The underwater world of the island is no less rich. Divers can spot parrotfish, neon coral fish, whale sharks, guban and anemone fish. Virtually the entire island is surrounded by reefs with bizarre shapes.
