There is no such thing as public transportation in Tioman. Tourists who stay here on vacation, get to their hotels by private transfer or by boat. Public transportation on Tioman is by ferry, which will take you to any village for around MYR 20.

The prices of transportation in Tioman will depend on the length of the trip and the comfort of the boat. Depending on the destination, a boat ride will cost between MYR 20 and 60.
According to the advice of tourists, transportation such as cab cabs are available in Tioman. Traveling by such Tioman transportation from one part of the island to another will cost approximately MYR 100 per person, and no more than MYR 40 per person if you are traveling in a group.
