Eugora Park, Rust, Germany

Eugora Park is almost the largest and most diverse amusement park in Europe, being the second most visited after Disneyland.

Located in the small German town of Rust, Eugora Park attracts at least 4 million visitors a year.

Thanks to the unique concept of the park, its guests can have fun in many countries without leaving Germany. Its territory is divided into thematic areas, each of which corresponds to a certain country. Thus, there are France, Switzerland, Greece, Italy, England. Scandinavian countries and even Chocolate Land and Viking Land, which are not mentioned on the formal maps.

The same diversity and national flavor distinguish the entertainment presented at each of the sites. For example, here you can witness a real knight's tournament or a historical reconstruction with the participation of a multinational team of entertaining artists.

Numerous roller coasters and dizzying rides are juxtaposed with replicas of castles and popular landmarks, as well as restaurants and cafes offering gourmet cuisine from all these countries.

Among the most popular attractions are the theatrical show "Gladiators Are Coming", the themed attraction "Arthur in the Kingdom of the Minimutes", the Atlantica SuperSplash water ride, and the Silver Star roller coaster.

Tickets from €36. Children under 4 years old are free of charge.

The most convenient way to get to Eugora Park is from Stuttgart.

Disneyland, Marne-la-Vallée, France

This is one theme park that needs no introduction! Here you can not only plunge into the exciting worlds created by one of the most famous storytellers of the last century, but also personally say hello and take pictures with many cartoon characters.

In addition to the castles, slides and rides, which are arranged in a Californian style, you can also stumble upon a lot of cozy restaurants, as well as a golf course and even a whole residential area! A special train runs through the vast territory of more than 1943 hectares.

By the way, since its opening in 1992 and to this day, this place is (quite expectedly) incredibly popular. Therefore, long queues for almost all attractions here stand even on weekdays.

Fortunately, for prudent travelers, there are several opportunities to avoid them. So, you can order tickets online in advance or buy them in Paris, in one of the stores of the book chain Fnac or branded Disney stores.

Visitors love the themed rides Indiana Jones and the Temple of Danger, Peter Pan's Flight, Hollywood Tower Hotel and Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster.

Tickets: from €56 for adults and from €51 for children.

Lotte World, Seoul, South Korea

This amusement park even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records. The famous almanac states that Lotte World is the world's largest indoor amusement park.

It is worth noting that in addition to the indoor amusement park, there is also a second part located outdoors, so the scale of the place is much grander. Ice arenas, museums, rides, museums, and various stores for the sweet tooth - all this and much more is available in Lotte.

Here you can, for example, experience the sensations of falling from a 70-meter height or get into the vortex of a huge tornado. The park welcomes visitors all year round, regardless of the weather conditions, and the good light permeability of the indoor part allows the use of natural light indoors as well.

Visitors especially love the Chairo Drop, Chairo Swing, and the miniature museum.

Tickets: it is advisable to take a magic pass before going to the park, which can significantly reduce the waiting time in the queue, and foreigners are entitled to a discount. The entrance fee is €32, free for children under 3 years old.

Legoland, Billund, Denmark

And in Denmark, wanting to entertain children, they went even further and built a whole world out of Lego parts. Here they have made game zones, buildings, and even reduced copies of many European cities!

Visitors can create entire settlements, magical creatures, and robots out of Lego parts. Such practice is not only entertaining but also perfectly develops imaginative thinking and spatial imagination.

In addition, here you can ride dizzying rides and water slides, go on an expedition into the local jungle, and take part in a knight's tournament.

Also impressive are Duploland, made entirely of soft material for the youngest children, Toyota Traffic School for children, themed zones Wild West Corner, Pirates' Land and Knights' Kingdom.

Tickets: a one-day ticket costs €51. If you buy in advance, you can get a 10 percent discount.

Billund is 260 kilometers from Copenhagen and can be reached by car or shuttle bus (about 4 hours).

Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen, Denmark

Just imagine, this amusement park is more than 170 years old and it is one of the three most popular in Europe.

Tivoli Gardens is not even a park, but a whole planet with colored meadows, animals, architectural constructions, extraordinary theaters, concert halls, cozy restaurants. From April to October this planet is drowned in the colors of thousands of flowers and hundreds of lights, it is difficult to find a more beautiful and blooming park. And what to talk about entertainment?

There are dozens of exciting attractions for children and for extreme adults. The Roller Coaster, an old roller coaster built back in 1914, is a constant attraction for everyone.

Be sure to ride Star Flye - one of the highest carousels in the world (80 meters), Demon - a large slide with a speed of more than 80 km/h, as well as the Monsunen and Vertigo swings. And don't miss the daily shows and performances in the theater and on the streets of the park, and on Wednesday and Saturday nights there is a real fireworks show.

Tickets: a one-day pass is €34.

Universal Studios Park, Los Angeles, USA

This park is a mecca not only for impressionable kids but also for movie buffs from all over the world. Here are created unique attractions based on fantastic movies.

The main park is located right next to the pavilions of Universal Studios, where the shooting of new blockbusters is still going on. In addition to rides, there are game and show areas, as well as fascinating retrospective museums, where you can trace the history of modern Hollywood from the beginning.

You're also bound to run into a famous character, like local icon Woody Woodpecker, or even a real movie celebrity.

Visitors are always attracted by themed attractions based on the movies "Men in Black", "King Kong", "Jurassic Park", "Transformers", "The Magical World of Harry Potter", and 3D attractions based on the animation "Ugly Ya".

Ferrari World, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Ferrari World is now the largest indoor amusement park in the world. It's located in Emirates. On a separate man-made island. The park is impressive in scale, they say, it can even be seen from space. And the speed of rides here is also cosmic.

It's clear from the name that this is a park for lovers of speed and Ferrari. If you will be here, do not pass by the legendary Formula Rossa attraction - it is a roller coaster, which according to the Formula 1 prototype gains a speed of 100 km/h in just one second, the main speed here is 240 km/h!

The second most popular attraction of the park is G-Force. It is a capsule built under the dome of the whole complex, from which as if by an explosion, a person is pushed to a height of 62 meters. The whole island of Yang appears in front of your eyes, and then the capsule flies down again at a tremendous speed. Impressions are impossible to describe, you have to try it. By the way, you will see your reaction on the bright photo, which will be given on "landing", and the photo will be taken, believe me, at the most emotional moment.

And what is a Ferrari park without cars? It is in Ferrari World you will have an opportunity to see under one roof all the legendary "swallows" that the popular brand has ever created, and some of them have an opportunity to take a ride. For example, on sports cars inside an impressive glass tunnel with more than 20 racing routes.

Tickets: A standard admission ticket costs €77 for an adult and €57 for a child (up to 1.3 meters tall).

Cedar Point, Ohio, USA

Cedar Point is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world IN THE UNITED STATES. Cedar Point is one of the oldest amusement parks in the United States. The first slides in Cedar Point appeared back in 1892. And even though the park is more than 100 years old, it is not inferior to modern ones and has more than 70 rides in its arsenal.

Cedar Point is just a dream for lovers of extreme and inexpressible sensations. The most famous attraction of the park is Skyhawk, an incredibly high "swinging arms". At first glance - an ordinary swing, well, a little higher than a twelve-storey building, gently raise you into the sky, for a minute freeze ... And then at a speed of more than 100 km / h flying down. And don't forget to take a ride on the Power Tower, which will allow you to feel the speed above the free fall.

Tickets: admission is €60 on site or €41 if you buy online. The price is the same for children and adults.

Port Aventura, Salou, Spain

Next on our itinerary Spain and its famous amusement park Port Aventura. It is also divided into themed zones that correspond to different parts of the world and countries.

Among the most popular zones is the Chinese one and its "Hong-Dragon" - a slide 45 meters high, which at a speed of more than 100 km/h flips cars with passengers at all possible angles, a sight to behold! Thrill-seekers also love the Mexican zone and the highest attraction of the park "Condore Hurricane". Even the bravest say that here you simply "stop breathing".

The total number of attractions in the arsenal of the park is about fifty, but not everyone knows that nearby there is also an excellent water park Caribe Aquatic, and if you buy tickets to both centers, the price will be much better.

Tickets: the price depends on the season. A ticket for an adult for one day costs from €55, for a child from €44.

Thorpe Park, Chertsey (near London), United Kingdom

Thorpe Park is a legendary park. It may be a bit inferior in size and scope, but you'll remember your time here for a long time to come. The park has water rides, roller coasters, and thrilling scare rooms.

The main attraction is considered to be Saw the Ride, and it is the place to start, especially since it is located right at the entrance. It is not advised to go here not only with children, but even with teenagers. But fans of "Saw" will appreciate it, as everything is recreated according to the movie: entourage, sounds, pools of blood, screams, and, of course, you will be chased by the very doll. And the only way to escape from it is to roll down from a 30-meter height.

Fly without soil under your feet or head down, spin in dead loops... Do you want to? Are you sure? Then run to the Nemesis Inferno. Accelerate to 120 km/h in 2 seconds and then plummet from 63 meters high? No problem, you're on Stealth.

The only downside is that there are endless queues, so it's best to arrive at the park first thing in the morning.

Tickets: if you book online - €33. On the spot you will have to pay 40% more.

img

Mirabilandia, Ravenna, Italy

And lastly, we have Italy and its famous Mirabilandia - the dream of every person from 7 to 70 years old. This park is a universal place. Of course, there are rides for fun and daredevils, there are extreme slides, and also luxurious, beautiful gardens and three clear lakes, near which you can just calmly catch your breath.

The park is divided into 7 thematic zones, and there are more than 40 attractions. The most intimidating of them is Katun. It is a very fast inverted roller coaster. It is named in honor of the Mayan calendar and is decorated in the entourage of this culture. Those less inclined to extreme sports should definitely take a ride on the Eurowheel, a Ferris wheel that not so long ago held the top spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's tallest. Tired of the heat? You will be cooled down by Niagara - water attraction, where you on boats "swim" to a height of 25 meters, and then fly down into the lake, splashing yourself and everyone around you with a wave of 15 meters!

Street performances, show programs, and concerts are held daily in the park. Mirabilandia works from April to September, and the rest of the time it is open only on weekends. There is a lot of entertainment here, so do not regret one day, put aside all your business and come early. By the way, don't forget your swimsuit.

Tickets: Admission is €37 per person.
