The Princely Palace is the residence of the Grimaldi princely family. The grandiose structure was built in 1191 and originally served as a fortress. Its protective purpose is still visible today: the palace does not shine with excessive luxury, but it is reliably fortified around the perimeter. Tourists can visit the Italian Gallery, the Throne Room, the Napoleon Museum and the Parade Apartments. The southwestern part of the palace, where the Prince's private quarters are located, is opened only occasionally - on special occasions. Entrance to the palace costs 7 EUR. The tour is conducted with an audio guide.

Japanese Garden is the realization of Princess Grace Kelly's dream. Unfortunately, the princess herself did not live to see its opening: the garden named after her was commissioned by her husband Prince Rainier III in 1994 in memory of her departed wife. Everything here is imbued with Japanese symbolism. Ponds with small fish, waterfalls, gazebos, tea houses, rock gardens, coniferous and olive trees are "arranged" strictly according to Zen philosophy. Entrance to the garden is free of charge. Be sure to visit it and take a photo of this Monte Carlo landmark as a souvenir.
