Lublin Castle

One of the most famous points of the city that any guidebook starts with. It was built back in the XIV century in the Gothic style, and later it was significantly expanded and modified. Due to frequent rebuildings, the complex looks very eclectic and immediately attracts the attention of architecture lovers.

Old Town

The real heart of Lublin is in the city center - with medieval streets, colorful facades and a cozy atmosphere. It's nice to just stroll around here, checking out the cafes, galleries and courtyards. The neighborhood is well preserved and looks like the set of a historical film.

St. John the Baptist Cathedral

Or simply Lublin Cathedral. It was built between 1592 and 1617 and is one of the first baroque churches in Poland, created in the image of Roman temples. Here you can see an ancient organ, painted ceilings and secret corridors.

Kraków Gate

The entrance to the old city, a medieval brick gate that was once part of the city wall. It was through this gate that people entered Lublin from the Krakow direction in the times when Krakow was the capital. Inside is the Museum of the History of Lublin.

Lublin Museum

It is located in the Lublin Castle and it is the best museum in the city. There are archeological, military, historical, numismatic, art and ethnographic expositions, so this excursion will be interesting even for young people and teenagers. In total there are more than 170 thousand exhibits in the collection.

Church of St. Peter the Apostle

Another famous Catholic church in Lublin, which is included in the list of architectural monuments. After restoration, it is rebuilt in Baroque style and decorated with neobaroque paintings.

Cultural Encounter Center

A cool modern cultural space that hosts exhibitions, performances and concerts. The building itself is an architectural object, and the concrete, glass and light inside create a special mood. A great place to see how tradition meets modernity.

Lublin Underground Route

A cool option when the main sights are explored. Highly recommended if you have at least 2 days to spare. This is an interactive route underneath the Old Town, passing through old commercial and warehouse buildings. Tours are guided and include light and sound effects.

Church of Our Lady of Fatima

Definitely on the list of the most interesting places thanks to its extraordinary modern architecture designed by Janusz Gongal. It was built in the 90s, so it still looks great. In 2000, an organ brought from Germany was installed in the church.

Saxon Garden

The city's most famous park is green, well-maintained, with alleys and fountains. Here you can take a walk, sit on a bench, read or have a picnic. A great place for a vacation from the hustle and bustle of the city. Especially beautiful in the warm season, when the trees and flowerbeds are in bloom.

Streets and squares

Grodskaya Street is sure to have something interesting to show tourists. It leads from the Market Square to the castle. It is full of old houses, cafes, craft shops and galleries.

We also recommend strolling along Krakowskie Predmestroje, the city's main street full of cafes and free performances by street performers. The main square is traditionally Market Square, where all the city's events and activities are always buzzing.

Museums and exhibitions

The Lublin Museum is not the only place to visit.
