Although Qatar is one of the most developed countries in the Middle East, Doha's nightlife is by no means rich and varied. It's a place to do business, but it's not a place to have fun. Besides, Muslim traditions do not favor spending time in nightclubs, and most Arab women here wear the hijab.
Doha Nightclubs
For the most part, almost all of Doha's nightclubs are located within large hotels. Some clubs don't allow single men - only couples or women. You may also be asked to show a document proving you are over 21 to enter the club.
The center of Doha's nightlife is the Chrystal Club. Here you can always expect great music, a festive atmosphere, and an interesting show program. It's worth noting that Arabs are not allowed in this club.
In principle, most major hotels have their own clubs - they're where the adult entertainment in Doha is centered. For example, the Intercontinental Doha has a good club called La Paloma, the Doha Marriott Hotel has the Pearl Lounge Marriott Club, and the popular Sky View Bar is on the 15th floor of the La Cigale Hotel.
