Here you can see really unique exhibits that are so difficult to connect with the image of modern Qatar - for example, the "tower of wind," a traditional form of dwelling with a natural ventilation system that was the salvation for such a hot region.

The museum building is built in the style of ancient Islamic architecture but with a unique design. The museum combines one of the most comprehensive collections of Islamic artifacts in the world, a research institute, a library, and a restaurant.
El Corniche Quay
There are some beautiful and interesting places in Doha that are quite easy to see. Doha Bay itself is very picturesque and pleasant to relax - you can stroll along it while exploring the surrounding area. The bay is surrounded by the eight-kilometer long, semi-circular seaside esplanade of El Corniche.
Doha Fort (Al Kut)
Another interesting attraction is Doha Fort. It looks like a small fortress-like structure, inside of which there is a modern art center. It serves as a center for contemporary art, where exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and handicrafts are regularly held.
The Pearl-Qatar - the artificial island of the Pearl of Qatar
The Pearl-Qatar is a luxurious artificial island in Qatar with residential neighborhoods. Hundreds of luxury apartments, boutiques, and restaurants have been built here. Just walking around it is a pleasure.
