Fortress tours
The most interesting entertainment for children in Bucharest is excursions to fortress churches. There are many of them in and around the city, so a vacation with kids in Bucharest will be active and full of impressions.
Children are always delighted to visit the ancient Moghosoaia Palace, which is located in the suburbs of Bucharest. A whole day can be set aside to visit the Snagov Monastery, where Count Dracula is buried.
At the open-air museum Kurtia Veche, also known as the Princely Court or the Dymbovica Fortress, it's very difficult to take children away, especially if they are boys. Usually after the excursions they play war games in the old ruins. In some of them children are allowed to hold real medieval weapons and try on the clothes of knights.
