Fees vary depending on the zone you're traveling within and the type of ticket. For example, a single metro ticket can cost 1.5 EUR (for a maximum of 5 stops) or 2 EUR (for 10 stops). A bus ticket for a single trip costs 1.5 EUR and a Parla streetcar ticket costs 1.3 EUR.
Tourist tips:
Transportation in Madrid is cheaper if you buy tickets for 10 rides at a time or combined tickets (convenient for multiple modes of transportation).
