The coastline of Sai Kaeo (Sai Kaew, Sai Keow, Hat Sai Kaew, Had Sai Kaeo) is not without reason considered the youth beach of Ko Samet. There are regular themed parties, plenty of bars and restaurants, and the shore doesn't go silent after dark. In addition to the entertainment venues, Sai Keo boasts many stores, a shopping center, a market, massage parlors, and other tourist infrastructure.
Sai Keo has a well-maintained coastline with clean sand and clear water. The coastline is ideal for children due to the gentle entrance to the sea.
The statues of a mermaid with a child and a prince with a flute are Samet's calling cards and will look great in vacation photos.

Sai Keo has the widest range of accommodation on the island of Samet. You can stay in a modest bungalow for 600 THB or a luxury hotel.

To get to Sai Keo, you can either take a motorboat from the mainland directly, or take a songteo (from 10 THB) or cab (from 100 THB) from Nadan Pier. The journey by sea will take about 20 minutes and 5 minutes
Wong Duan Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the entire island of Samet. There is a small pier here from which you can sail directly to the mainland without having to stop at Nadan Pier.

Ao Hin Khok beach is located near Samet's main hangout, Sai Keo Beach. Ao Khin is separated from its bustling neighbor only by the famous mermaid statue. On the other side, the boundary of the beach is conventionally considered a cluster of boulders, across which spreads another cheerful neighbor - Ao Phai Beach.
Ao Khin Beach will be enjoyed by those who prefer silence but don't mind getting closer to civilization on occasion.
It's quiet, peaceful, and fairly uncrowded. There is no nightlife on Ao Khin, with the exception of a few restaurants in the northern part of the coast.
The southern part of the beach is completely covered with soft and clean sand. In the north, lonely rocks are found on the shore.
Ao Khin's main distinguishing feature is the complete absence of frontline hotels. All accommodation (both expensive and extremely modest) is located across the road from the shore.
There are not many hotels located on the coast. The most popular is the Avatara Resort. A double room there will cost from 90 USD per night.
The drive from Nadan Pier along the main highway of Ko Samet will take about 10 minutes. The fare in a songteo will cost 20 THB, while cabs will cost from 200 THB. On foot, this distance can be covered in 30-40 minutes.
Ao Cho Beach is located in the heart of the eastern part of Samet Island. Its neighboring beach is Wong Duan Beach. In terms of price level, Ao Cho is considered average. It is quite little crowded in both high and low season.
Ao Cho Beach boasts these benefits:
a gentle entrance to the water;
perfectly clean and soft sand;
hammock swings resting on trees;
a small pier from which you can sail to neighboring islands or the mainland;
the ability to lounge on your own towel as well as on sun loungers;
a rental point for sunbeds, umbrellas, and sports equipment;
paradise palm trees with many ripening coconuts.
Ao Cho Beach is ideal for those who appreciate privacy and a quiet vacation. However, it's less than a 10-minute walk to the party hub (Sai Keo Beach).
There's virtually no mid-priced accommodation on the coast. But there is an abundance of expensive hotels and budget bungalows. The latter can only be rented locally, as they can't be booked online. Among the luxury establishments, the following hotels are considered the best:

Tongta Phaview Resort.
Despite the 3-star level, a double room at these in high season can cost from 160 USD.
Take a songteo (from 30 THB) or cab (from 250 THB) from Nadan Pier in the village of the same name in 10-13 minutes. From Wong Duan, the journey will take up to half an hour and cost 50 THN by songteo and 300 THN by cab respectively.
The neighbors of Ao Phai beach are Ao Khin and Sai Keo. They can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The shore of Ao Phai Beach looks quite heterogeneous, with both rocks and sand.
Unlike most beaches on Ko Samet, there is some nightlife here. Of course, Sai Keo has a lot more parties, but Ao Phai Beach doesn't shut up when the sun goes down either. In addition, the coast has the following tourist infrastructure:
grocery and souvenir stores;
bars and restaurants;
Massage parlors, including those providing intimate services.
Ao Phai boasts both excellent hotels and bungalows on the coastline and accommodation across the road from the sea. The following hotels are considered the best:

To get from Nadan Pier to Ao Phai Beach, you can take a Songteo (for 20 THB) or a cab (from 200 THB).
The coastline of Ao Tubtim has the name Ao Putsa on some maps. The beach is separated from Ao Phai by small rocks.
The wide enough shore, gentle, rock-free bottom - these characteristics make Ao Tubtim ideal for families with children of all ages. Shade is provided by umbrellas available for hire and a variety of trees.
First-line hotels are complemented by massage parlors and restaurants right on the beach.
The hotels on the Ao Tubtim coast range from luxurious to fairly budget. The best of them are rightly considered hotels:

The trip from Nadan Pier costs 20 THB by songteo and from 200 THB by cab.
Supparod Beach or Pineapple Beach is sometimes referred to as Secret Beach. It is hardly ever mentioned in guidebooks or on maps. There is no way to get to it from the shore - it is encircled by cliffs and hills from the sea. The only way to Pineapple Beach is through the jungle, right through the Sai Keo lookout.
The coastline is very secluded, but also quite comfortable.
The most comfortable hotels to stay in Secret Beach are considered to be:

Baan Supparod.
Double rooms at these hotels cost from 70 USD per night. The rest of the coastal accommodation is budget bungalows from 25 USD.
To get to Secret Beach, you can take a pre-booked shuttle or walk across Sai Keo.
The secluded and tranquil Ao Nuan Beach neighbors the rather noisy Ao Tubtim Beach. On the other side of the coast is an equally contemplative neighbor, Ao Cho.
Ao Naun Beach has only a couple of grocery stores. Restaurants, bars, and other entertainment are not to be found here. The coast is surrounded by untouched jungle. Accommodation on the coast is represented exclusively bungalows. There are no hotels with an acceptable level of comfort on Ao Nuan Beach.
This is not a place for young people. Families with small children will also be discouraged, as the tourist infrastructure leaves much to be desired.
From Nadan Pier to Ao Nuan takes about 10-15 minutes by songteo (30 THV) or 8-10 minutes by cab (from 250 THV).
Factually, Ao Prao is the only beach in the west of Samet Island. It is remarkably beautiful: manicured sand, modern cottages, picturesque cliffs along the edges of the coast, and jungle at the rear.
Ao Prao Beach is an ideal stretch of coastline for families with children. There's a gentle entrance to the water and a rock-free bottom. In the low season, it's surprisingly uncrowded, with up to 5 people on the beach.
A short walk from the beach is a wonderful lookout.
Hotels located on Ao Prao are predominantly premium. The best establishments are rightly called hotels:

To get to the coast of Ao Prao, you can take a tuk-tuk, songteo (for 30 THB), or cab (from 250 THB).
Ao Luk Yon (Ao Pacha) beach is located to the left of Nadan Pier, a short walk from the pier. The main advantage of the beach is its proximity to the National Park. Besides this, a vacation near Ao Luk Yon has the following benefits:
non-crowded even in high season;
closeness to local civilization: Sai Keo beach;
Walking distance to Koh Samet's Big Buddha and other attractions.
There are no hotels on the coast itself: all accommodation is humble bungalows and single-storey houses with a minimum of comfort. But there are several excellent hotels within a 3-minute walk:

The cost of a double room in them per night is from 75 USD.
It takes 2-3 minutes to walk to Ao Luk Yen from Nadan Pier. To do so, you need to turn left from the pier and follow the Main Road of the island.
The coastline of Ao Klang Beach can safely be called the worst beach on Ko Samet. Territorially, it is located north of Nadan Pier. The sea here is dirty due to the constant coming and going of boats.
There are a few grocery stores in the Ao Klang neighborhood, as well as a modest market.

The secret to their popularity lies in the excellent quality of the rooms, the excellent service, and the location: they are built on a hill and boast a good view from the windows.
Ao Klang can be reached on foot from Nadan Island's main pier. The journey will take a few minutes.
The sparsely populated Ao Noi Na Beach is located near the main pier of Ko Samet. It is separated from the pier by only a small stretch of Ao Klang coastline.
It offers both peace, quiet and seclusion, and civilization - it's a short walk to parties and other entertainment.
Lodging on Ao Noi beach is exclusively represented by mid-priced hotels. Budget bungalows are not to be found here. The following hotels are among the best value for money:

A stay in a double room in them can be had for from 90 USD per night.
It takes about half an hour to get to Ao Noi Na from Nadan Pier. You can cover the distance in 10 minutes (20 THB) by songteo or 8 minutes by cab (from 200 THB).
Ao Pakaprang is the southernmost point of Samet Island. There isthe only 3-star Nimmanoradee Resort hotel and restaurant on the coast, with no other infrastructure. Ao Pakarang Beach is as far away from Nadan Pier as possible, so it is extremely quiet, peaceful and not crowded.
The coastline is crescent-shaped and is not completely sandy. Occasionally there are lone boulders on the shore. You can not only swim, but also snorkel: exotic fish love to hide among the rocks.
Ao Pakarang will suit both those who prefer to relax on a towel and those who like to relax more comfortably on a sun lounger. Beachgoers also have the choice of shade from palm trees or rented umbrellas.
Ao Pakarang can rightly be considered the most romantic coastline with beautiful scenic views that have not been left behind by the hand of man.
Ao Pakarang has no attractions apart from a small lookout point.
The cost of traveling from Nadan pier by songteo will be 70 THB, cab from 650 THB. It takes about half an hour to drive.
The two hundred meter long coastline of Ao Wai Beach is located in the south of Samet Island. It's actually a wild jungle, with the only Samet Ville Resort Hotel lost amongst it. There's a restaurant, bar, grocery store and massage parlor for hotel guests. At the same time, there is a sports and diving equipment rental on the beach.
Ao Wai Beach is ideal for those who appreciate a quiet, secluded vacation.
Besides the Samet Ville Resort, Ao Wai Beach is home to a number of cottages:

Lung Dam coastline is territorially located in the southeast of the island of Samet. It is heterogeneous in appearance and has both sandy areas and rocky areas. Despite the excellentinfrastructure(stores, hotels, restaurants), even in high season it is not crowded.
Lung Dam Beach is a fisherman's haven: the beach is great for fishing. Hotels on the beach are predominantly small bungalows or cottages, which cannot be booked online.
To get to Lung Dam, you can take a songteo from Nadan Pier (for 40 TNV). The same distance can be traveled by cab (from 350 THB).
Sang Tian Beach is another stretch of the southeastern coast of Ko Samet. The closest one to it is Wong Duan Beach. The entrance to the water in the Sang Tian area is quite gentle. But the bottom is rocky, with lone boulders of various sizes in the sand.

Samet Island is ideal for beach vacations. There is a coastline to suit all tastes: partygoers, families with children, and those who like privacy. Sai Keo, Ao Prao, Ao Khin, Wong Duan, and Ao Tubtim are considered the most popular.
