Ao Hin Khok

Characteristics of the Ao Khin Coast

It's quiet, peaceful, and fairly uncrowded. There is no nightlife on Ao Khin, with the exception of a few restaurants in the northern part of the coast.

The southern part of the beach is completely covered with soft and clean sand. In the north, lonely rocks are found on the shore.

Ao Khin's main distinguishing feature is the complete absence of frontline hotels. All accommodation (both expensive and extremely modest) is located across the road from the shore.

The neighbors of Ao Phai beach are Ao Khin and Sai Keo. They can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The shore of Ao Phai Beach looks quite heterogeneous, with both rocks and sand.

Unlike most beaches on Ko Samet, there is some nightlife here. Of course, Sai Keo has a lot more parties, but Ao Phai Beach doesn't shut up when the sun goes down either. In addition, the coast has the following tourist infrastructure:

The coastline is very secluded, but also quite comfortable.

This is not a place for young people. Families with small children will also be discouraged, as the tourist infrastructure leaves much to be desired.

Ao Prao Beach, Samet

Ao Prao

Factually, Ao Prao is the only beach in the west of Samet Island. It is remarkably beautiful: manicured sand, modern cottages, picturesque cliffs along the edges of the coast, and jungle at the rear.

Ao Prao Beach is an ideal stretch of coastline for families with children. There's a gentle entrance to the water and a rock-free bottom. In the low season, it's surprisingly uncrowded, with up to 5 people on the beach.

A short walk from the beach is a wonderful lookout.

Characteristics of Ao Parakarang Beach

The coastline is crescent-shaped and is not completely sandy. Occasionally there are lone boulders on the shore. You can not only swim, but also snorkel: exotic fish love to hide among the rocks.

Ao Pakarang will suit both those who prefer to relax on a towel and those who like to relax more comfortably on a sun lounger. Beachgoers also have the choice of shade from palm trees or rented umbrellas.

Ao Wai Beach is ideal for those who appreciate a quiet, secluded vacation.
