The Red Tower or Kızılkule is one of the main attractions of the resort. It was built in the 13th century by the order of the Seljuk ruler Aladdin Keykubat for defensive purposes. At the time of the siege, up to two thousand people could hide in Kızılkule.

The length of the fortress is about 8 km, and its height reaches the level of a standard five-story building. 85 steps lead to the top of the fortress, where there is an observation deck. Thanks to conscientious construction, the Red Tower is still in excellent condition.

Kızkalesi (Maiden's Castle)

Kızkalesi or Maiden's Fortress is a structure on a small man-maid island off the coast of Alanya, associated with one of the local legends. According to legend, a nobleman's daughter lived here, whom the oracle predicted would die from a viper. But fate caught up with the beauty even on a stone island without a single living creature - the guards did not inspect a basket of fruits, and the snake hid in it.

In the evenings, the Maiden's Castle looks particularly impressive due to the illumination.

Shipyard Alanya (Tersane Alanya)
