Lodging. A vacation for two in Dubai in a three-star hotel will cost at least 60 USD per night, in four-star hotels - an average of 80 USD, but there are cheaper options.
Food. A good lunch in a regular cafe is 15-20 to 70 AED. A meal in an inexpensive restaurant is 80-100 AED, while a fancy one is 400-600 AED.
Be sure to include in your Dubai vacation expenses the price of car or cab rentals or fees for publictransport. A car will cost from AED 80 per day, a day pass on public transport from AED 16-20, and cabs from AED 20-40 to AED 80 per trip.
Cultural program. It is difficult to predict here. You can just walk around the historic part of the city, or you can hire a private guide for 900 AED, lounge on the white sand of the city beach for free, or join one of the chic beach clubs with entrance fees starting at 150 AED.
Such attractions as mosques, museums, and observation decks cost between AED 5 and 130 per visit, while zoos, aquariums, water parks, and an indoor ski resort cost between AED 50 and 300. And how much money you're willing to leave in a nightclub or mall is up to you.
By the way, reviews of vacations in Dubai warn against losing your sense of proportion. In a city that literally exudes luxury, it is very easy to forget about the true value of money and spend more than you bargained for.
