Dubai Attractions

Dubai is a real asset of the United Arab Emirates, so there are plenty of unusual sights here.

First of all, a map of Dubai's landmarks will point you to the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building on the planet. Its top 163rd floor is over 600 meters high, and the entire structure is over 800 meters tall. Inside are bars, restaurants, shopping centers, swimming pools and more.

The structure is truly monumental and the view from the observation deck on its upper floors is incredible. There's also a spectacular fountain show near the Burj Khalifa. Entrance to the observation deck costs 125 AED.

Another symbol of the city, which is in any booklet with sights and photos of Dubai, is the world's only seven-star hotel-sail Burj Al Arab.

Make sure to visit the group of man-made Isles of Palms - there are three in total, and the monorail that operates on one of them is the first in the entire Middle East.

A Dubai sightseeing map is sure to point you to another of the city's symbols, a sculpture of a man and a woman in traditional Arabian garb. The sculpture is called "Together" and is created using black granite and white marble.

Fans of graceful beauty and contemplative relaxation should not pass by the delightful Miracle Garden (DubaiLand, Al Barsha, admission 20 AED). It's incredible to see such a colorful riot in a desert area, and like everything here, the garden is more than just a lush collection of plants.

Don't miss the chance to enter the very beautiful Jumeirah Mosque on Jumeirah Beach Road - it's an Islamic symbol of cosmopolitanism where all faiths are allowed in, but still opt for closed, loose-fitting clothing. Arrive at 10am and prepare AED 10 for admission and an English-speaking guide.

No description of Dubai's attractions would be complete without Emirates Towers, the twin towers on the city's main street, Sheikh Zayed Highway.

Also be sure to visit the local aquarium, one of the largest in the world. It is located in the largest shopping center in the Middle East, Dubai Mall. It costs 50 AED to visit.

Stock up on a Dubai sightseeing map so you don't miss out on anything interesting.
