Routes in Dubai

The concept of Dubai's walking routes is quite conventional. This city is not designed to be walked around. First of all, it's hot. Secondly, the places of interest are quite far apart. Third, it's just plain mauvais.

The exception is a walk through the park or the marvelous Dubai Creek promenade. Otherwise, walking routes around Dubai are not very popular and are mostly limited to the road from the hotel to the beach. There is no walking around the city, but rather traveling by car, bus, and subway.

Combine the modes of transportation that are comfortable for you and make your own Dubai travel itinerary, which may include:

• visit the old market for fabrics or tailoring

• visit the historical museum (Al Fahidi Fort), which for 3-5 AED will take you back several centuries;

• a tour of the Gold Market - several hundred stores with jewelry will shock your imagination, even if you are indifferent to precious metals;

• complete the route of walks in Dubai with a visit to the incense market - here at your request for you to "create" any smell!

• if you like traditional Arabian architecture, visit the old town of Al-Bastakia. Everything here is just as it was hundreds of years ago: narrow streets, small mosques, sand-colored buildings. Tiny souvenir shops, art galleries and charming coffee shops await you here.
