The concept of Dubai's walking routes is quite conventional. This city is not designed to be walked around. First of all, it's hot. Secondly, the places of interest are quite far apart. Third, it's just plain mauvais.
The exception is a walk through the park or the marvelous Dubai Creek promenade. Otherwise, walking routes around Dubai are not very popular and are mostly limited to the road from the hotel to the beach. There is no walking around the city, but rather traveling by car, bus, and subway.
