The most popular mode of transportation in Philadelphia is the subway. It features two rapid transit lines and five underground-surface trolley routes. In total, the subway network has 85 stations. The Blue “Market–Frankford” Line runs directly beneath Market Street in the city center, while the Orange “Broad Street” Line runs along Broad Street from north to south.
