Holiday in Bulgaria will give you a lot of impressions and help you to gain strength for the summer period. Coming to the resort in August you will be able to:
see the various sights this country has to offer;
Swim in the sea and sunbathe on the beach;
taste the national Bulgarian dishes;
relax in nature and enjoy the beautiful view from the promenade;
buy souvenirs to remember.
How to get there
There are several ways to get to the resorts in Bulgaria:
by plane (the most expensive but fastest option);
by train;
by bus;
by ferry;
by your own car (or rent transportation on the website).
If you are traveling with a tour company, after arrival at the booked resort you will be transferred to the hotel.
Lodging
You can stay in a hotel or rent a private accommodation. Before you book a room or apartment, you can look at photos and read reviews on the internet. This will help you choose the most suitable option.
Pricing
The price of a hotel room will depend on the "star rating" of the hotel, availability of additional services, etc. The cost of renting an apartment is set depending on the number of rooms, availability of all necessary equipment.
Also, in many respects, the pricing is influenced by the location of the property (the closer to the city center or traditional tourist destinations, the more expensive it will cost to rent).
Meals
Depending on room booking or travel agency arrangements, the price may include one, two or three meals a day at the hotel.
You can also cook your own food at the store or market, order ready-made meals or eat in cafes and restaurants (the latter, of course, will be quite expensive).
Supermarket food
If you want a more economical option, it's better to buy your groceries in stores. One of the best supermarkets in Bulgaria in terms of assortment and pricing is Mladost. It is located in New Nessebar and in Sunny Beach. Here you can buy:
food products (including children's);
Personal hygiene products;
Cleaning products, etc.
From among food products, we advise you to pay attention to Bulgarian milk products:
Cayman - from 4 BGN;
airan - from 2 lions (BGN);
tarator - from 3-4 lions (BGN);
Bryndza - from 12 lions (BGN).
There's also a great selection of quality cheeses.
There are several large supermarket chains in Bulgaria, with branches in almost every resort town. The most budget-friendly ones are Lidl, Penny, Billa, CBA.
There are a number of supermarkets that carry a more expensive line of products. These supermarkets include Kaufland and Carrefour. The selection there is substantially larger, but prices can be quite high.

Bulgaria's beaches
Bulgaria is washed by the Black Sea, which is warm enough to swim in.
Nesebar
The main part of Nessebar's beaches are sandy. This is convenient if you prefer to lie on a blanket rather than rent a sun lounger.
Two beaches are the most popular:
Beyond the Rocks Beach. This is a small wild beach, especially for those who prefer communion with nature to a noisy vacation. There are no paid loungers or changing cabins, but there is clean water, plenty of space to rest (you should bring a blanket) and a beautiful view of old Nessebar.
South Beach is a large sandy barchan. South beach offers tourists all sorts of additional services (renting watercraft for a walk, etc.). The beach is divided into two zones: paid (here there are umbrellas under which you can shelter from the sun and deck chairs for a comfortable rest) and free (here you can rent an umbrella and a deck chair, which will cost from 10 lions (LV).
There are several other well-equipped beaches in Old Nessebar. Here you will find everything you need for a comfortable vacation.
Primorsko
This resort has two of the most popular beaches:
South Beach. It is well suited for a vacation with the family. The entrance to the water here is gentle, which is convenient for swimming with children.
North Beach. There are fewer paid services here, so there are fewer tourists. The sea near the North Beach is often stormy, so vacation here is more suitable for companies and young people, rather than families with children.
The two beaches are connected by a suspension bridge, so you can relax on one or the other according to your mood.
Pomorie
The beaches of Pomorie are sandy. Due to the high iron content of the soil, the sand is gray or even black.
The most popular beaches in Pomorie are Central and Eastern. The conditions on them are approximately the same. There are "wild", free areas where you can come with your own towel and organized areas with paid sun beds and umbrellas. There are playgrounds for children.
Beach vacation options
Children's vacation
Bulgaria has beaches well equipped for family vacations with children. There is a smooth entrance to the sea with a long strip of shallow water. This is the perfect place for young children swimming with a lap or learning to stay in the water on their own.
Company vacations
For couples or companies on vacation without children, there are also beaches with a quick set of depths. For fans of active water recreation provides rental of catamarans and jet skis.
For everyone the ideal vacation looks different. Some prefer to sunbathe on the warm sand and swim in the sea, while for others, a vacation will not be good enough without extreme water attractions or interesting excursions. Bulgaria offers tourists a vacation for every taste.
