Beaches in Sozopol

The best beaches of Sozopol are located in two areas of the city. In the Old Town there is the Old Beach, in the New Town there is the Harmana Beach. It should be noted that the entrance to the beaches is free, but you will have to pay a symbolic fee of 3 BGN for a beach umbrella or a sun lounger.

Thinking about which beach is better to choose in Sozopol, it is worth considering the following points:

- The old beach is preferred by vacationers with children. It is located in a cozy bay, has a gentle descent into the sea. Despite the influx of tourists, even in the "high season" you can always find a free place there.

- Harmana beach is located to the south, it is more extended, so, lovers of secluded rest, it is just created for you.

Three kilometers from the city, a new beach has recently opened, which has become a favorite of landscape artists. A large number of convenient little coves in the rocks, hanging tree vines create a unique aura that attracts extreme tourists.

Going on vacation to Sozopol in late July-August, remember that the beaches in these months are "blooming", i.e. there is an abundance of algae and tina.
