Beaches in Pula

Pula is not just a city with a rich millennial history and interesting sights. The purest waters of the Adriatic Sea and fragrant pine forests create ideal conditions for beach vacations, physical and mental recovery.

Pula's beaches are mostly rocky, located in cozy bays, or concreted with equipped entrances to the sea.

Medulin competes with Punto Verudela. Here, the fine-pebbled beaches are "framed" in a ring of Mediterranean greenery. There are no entrance fees, and the cost of renting sunbeds and umbrellas does not exceed 15 NRK.

Stinjan is one of the most beautiful beaches in Istria. Pebble "amphitheater" is surrounded on all sides by greenery. Here are organized convenient rental centers for sports equipment, beach volleyball courts. There is a diving center, cycling paths, and a Croatian restaurant with an enchanting view of the Briuni Islands within walking distance.

The sand and pebble shoal are equipped with access platforms and slopes for people with disabilities. The infrastructure of the complex includes sports centers and restaurants. Sea urchins are sometimes found in the local waters, so it's best to stock up on protective slippers for a family vacation with children in Pula.

Great swimming spots are available at Valsalçalina Bay.

One of the best beaches around Pula is located 13 km from the city, on Kamenjak Cape on the southern tip of the Istrian peninsula. The area has been declared a natural park.

Pula and its surroundings have many interesting places to relax: the island-like rocky beaches of Crveni Otok, the secluded pebble strips of Duga Uvala with a gentle entrance and picturesque views, the sandy beaches of Bijeca.

Separate in this series are the beaches of the Verudela peninsula, including Ambrela with the cleanest water area and a huge range of water activities, Brioni with a bright entertainment program. In total, there are 44 beaches in the resort area, which have been awarded the EU Blue Flag for their impeccable cleanliness and environmental friendliness.
