The main feature of Rovinj's Mediterranean climate is the slight difference (without any sharp changes) between winter and summer. In fact, the winter months resemble our late fall, while the off-season is May or early September. The maximum temperature in Rovinj is in August (the thermometer can reach +30-35°C), while the minimum temperature is in January (up to +3-5°C).
The temperature rarely drops below zero. The locals themselves call the resort's climate enchanted. They have often noticed that when clouds, rain, or storms are gathering in all the neighboring towns, the sun shines brightly in Rovinj.
With its island location and mild climate, Rovinj has delightful nature. There are golden beaches in azure bays, a bird sanctuary, and even a fjord.
