Rovinj's vegetation and fauna

The vegetation of Rovinj does not differ much from the flora of the rest of Croatia. It is dominated by forests and steppes. On the Golden Cape, however, there is the Forest National Park, which contains thousands of native and naturalized plants: stone oaks, alpine pines, cedars and cypresses.
