The center of Rovinj's nightlife is the Monvi entertainment complex (Ul. Stjepana Radića). It was inaugurated in 2003, and since then Monvi has been called the biggest and most fun "party" place in Croatia. There is a disco bar, 12 bars, a pizzeria, Mexican restaurants and a huge open-air dance floor. The parties in summer start at 22:00 and last until the morning.
Fun and dancing to modern rhythms is also available at Rovinj's LMS Club nightclub. And if you're in the mood for a pre-party, check out Zanzibar, Havana, or Valentino cocktail bars.
A favorite local entertainment for kids and adults in Rovinj is the grand Fisherman's Night festival, which takes place in the town square on the last night of August, Friday through Saturday. It is immediately followed by Rovinj Night with performances by popular Croatian musicians, competitions, fairs, and fireworks.
