Diving dominates among all kinds of water activities in Rovinj. Specialized clubs organize diving in the Adriatic Sea, exploring reefs, underwater caves, and rocks. The most intrepid divers can explore ships sunk during the First and Second World Wars.
For example, the British minesweeper Coriolanus. It was hit by a mine in 1945, and now lies at a depth of about 20 meters. It has become home to a variety of marine life, making the wreck particularly attractive for diving.
Many of Rovinj's hotels on the coast rent equipment for waterskiing: wakesurfing, wakeboarding, windsurfing. A ten-minute ride costs about 170 HRK. Renting a motorboat costs 100 HRK (also for 10 minutes). Parasailing in Rovinj is available at the Belistra Water Sports center. It costs from 200 HRK.
