City Transportation
The main mode of transportation in Protaras is the OSEA blue buses, both city and intercity. Many of the local drivers speak English, and you have to buy your ticket at the driver's entrance. Passengers get off through the middle door. The most popular public transportation in Protaras is buses № 101 (from Ayia Napa to Pralimni) and № 102 (from Pralimni to Ayia Napa). On weekdays, the traffic starts at 7:00 and ends at 23:00, on Saturday and Sunday, it runs from 8:00 to 23:00.

Fare Prices
Public transportation fares in Protaras. One bus ride costs 1.50 EUR during the day and 2.50 EUR at night, a ticket for travel from 4:00 to 23:00 is 5 EUR, a pass for 7 days is 15 EUR, and for a month is 40 EUR. Children up to 6 years old ride free of charge; after 6 years old, they can enjoy a 50% discount.
