As you would expect from a resort town, the map of Protaras with sights is not particularly pleasing because people come here mainly for a beach vacation and warm sea. Nevertheless, if you're here in February, or if it's raining in the middle of July, a description of Protaras sights will come in handy:
The Orthodox Church of St. Elias is the main place of worship on the Protaras sightseeing map. Geographically, it is not in the town itself, but next to it on a high, 115-meter cliff. The church is old, dating back to about the 14th century. Next to the church, there is a "wishing tree" on which you can tie your ribbon.
Sin Bridge - are rocks in the shape of a bridge. According to legend, when the most egregious sinner on the planet stands on the rocks, the bridge will collapse. However, you're unlikely to be able to test yourself as the bridge is now closed, but you can see it from the outside.
Cape Greco - the photo of this attraction of Protaras adorns every second guidebook (located between Protaras and Ayia Napa). It is said that in the waters of Greco there is a giant monster To Filiko Teras - this fact, however, does not scare hundreds of divers to come here every year to explore the picturesque sea caves. And not far from the cape, near the village of Paralimni, is the Valley of Windmills - a very impressive sight! You can get to the cape by boat (10 EUR), which stops next to the Constantinos Hotel.
