- Madrid-Barajas Airport is the largest in the country. It is located 12 km from the capital and consists of four terminals. Barajas International Airport is connected to the Iberian Peninsula, the Canary Islands, European countries and Latin America. It serves approximately 45 million passengers each year. Most of the flights are operated by the Spanish airline Iberia.

- Girona Airport is located 103 km from the city of Barcelona and 12 km from Girona. Most of the flights of Spain's international airport are low-cost carrier companies, in particular Ryanair.
