Flying there is only half the journey; how to get to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc deserves a separate explanation. Most likely, you will travel from Geneva Airport. But it is important to know that you can reach Chamonix by train not only from Switzerland, but also from London, Paris, Milan, and Turin. Regular bus services also operate from these cities.
Of course, Geneva is the closest, so we will base the directions on it. Unfortunately, there is currently no direct connection from Geneva to Chamonix. Experts recommend a car or bus transfer.
You can also take the French train. This trip takes between three and three and a half hours. The route passes through the town of Annemasse or via Roche-sur-Foron and Saint-Gervais.
The websites of the Swiss and French railways will help you decide on the best route.
