The luxurious Chamonix-Mont-Blanc snowpark is famous worldwide. Around 170 km of slopes are located within Mont Blanc alone. The most developed are 68 trails. Among them, 21 of the most difficult (black) await professionals. There are also 34 red slopes for intermediate skiers and 13 blue runs for beginners.

The snow cover of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc impresses with its density and persistence even in early December. On the lower slopes of the mountain it can reach half a meter, while closer to the glacier it can reach three or four meters!
The length of the largest ski slope reaches 22 kilometers. All ski slopes of Chamonix-Mont Blanc are equipped with elevators.
The world’s greatest altitude differences can be found on the slopes of this resort. The main ski areas of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc are:
Grands Montets 1235–3300 m;
Brévent / Flégère 1030–2525 m;
Balme / Vallorcine 1453–2270 m;
Les Houches 950–1900 m.
The ski runs in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc offer endless opportunities for skiing, while thrill-seekers will appreciate the mighty glacier with its challenging slopes.
Some ski areas are linked by elevators and here you can see a panorama of the whole mountain. All the ski slopes of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc offer slopes for different tastes and levels of fitness. And don't forget that the air here is very clean. It is worth having sunscreen with you, otherwise there is a risk of getting sunburned on a sunny January day.
There is a skiing area inside the reserve itself, the huge Chamonix valley. You can get here through the villages of Le Tour and Vallorsin. In the area of these villages the slopes are more gentle and quiet.
If you want to combine forest and mountains, the slopes at the foot of Mont Blanc within the valley will lead you to Les Houches. The altitude difference here is not that great, and freestylers can enjoy a modern snowpark. Plenty of opportunities are open both for skiers and snowboarders.
Snowboarding is available on the slopes: Grands Montets, Brévent, La Flégère, Les Houches. For beginner snowboarders, the slopes are: La Vormaine, Les Pèlerins, Chosalets, Les Planards, Clos de Savoie, Les Bossons. Off-piste riding: Brévent, Aiguille du Midi, Grands Montets, La Flégère.
