Charles de Gaulle International Air Terminal is located 25 kilometers from Paris. It is the country's main air terminal and the second largest in Europe. The annual passenger traffic of the airport is more than 150000 people.

Orly Airport is located 14 kilometers from the city and performs, for the most part, domestic transportation. The airport receives more than 32 million passengers annually.

The Beauvais airport is located 90 kilometers from the city. It is not a very large airport with a passenger traffic of more than 3.5 million people per year.

How to get to the center of Paris from Charles de Gaulle airport

From the airport, you can get to the city by public transportation, cab, shuttle or rent a car. The journey by car will take you no more than 35 minutes.

Train

The easiest way to get into the city is by regional electric train (RER). See the site for all the train information you need. By train you can reach the stations: Denfent - Rocheau, Saint -Michel - Notre - Dame, Gare do Nord, Chaletetet - Les - Halles.

  • Where to find: you can enter the station from the third terminal, the station is located in the Roissypole building.

  • Trip time: 50 minutes.

  • Schedule: every 10 to 20 minutes from 04:56 to 23:56.

  • Fare: 11 EUR - adult ticket, 7 EUR - child ticket. Children up to 4 years old ride free of charge. You can buy a ticket from a special machine at the station.

Bus

  • Take the Roissybus line bus. It goes all the way to the Opera Garnier.

  • Buses No. 351 (to Porte de la Chapelle) and No. 350 (to Place de la Nation) go into the city, but they take a little longer as they make stops along the way.

  • At night, you can take routes numbered N140 and N143.

The bus stop is located near the exit of terminal one, two and three. Note that the N140 night bus only stops near Terminal Three.

  • Trip time: 1 hour and 20 minutes.

  • Where to buy a ticket: from the driver. If you prefer the Roissybus, you can buy your ticket at the ticket office at the airport. The driver will charge you 1 EUR more.

  • Schedule: from 05:33 to 04:00 every 20 minutes.

  • Fare: 11,50 EUR for Roissybus and 6 EUR for other buses. Babies under 4 years old ride free of charge. Payment in cash only. You don't have to pay for luggage.

Le Bus

This bus stops at Porte-Mayo, Étoile-Champs-Elysées and Trocadéro. The buses have internet, USB ports for charging gadgets built into the seats. There is also no limit on the number of items you can carry. You can see the schedule here.

  • Where to find: the bus stop is located near the exit of Terminal One and Terminal Two.

  • Trip time: 60 minutes.

How to get to Paris bus station and train station from Charles de Gaulle airport

  • To the Paris Gare de l' Est (Paris Gare de l' Est) and the Gare du Nord (Paris Gare du Nord) Railway Station you can take bus number 350.

  • To Gare Montparnasse and Gare de Lyon you can take the Les Cars Air France bus (line 4), which stops at the first terminal.

The Orlyval high-speed electric train will take you quickly to the RER Antony station. At this station you will need to change to a train to Gare du Nord (Gare du Nord train station). The route is as follows: Airport - Antony - Denfert Rocherau - Chalet-Les - Halles - Gare du Nord.

  • Where to find: The station is located near the South Terminal exit and close to the West Terminal arrivals hall.

  • Trip time: 36 minutes (including transfers).
